The Sportiverse Network was one of the most comprehensive projects developed during the Cosmos Acceleration Program. It introduces a Web3-native infrastructure tailored to the global sports sector, built using Cosmos SDK and Tendermint, aiming to decentralize access to opportunities, data, and governance across the entire sports ecosystem.

Project Overview

Sportiverse is a modular, interoperable blockchain network designed to connect athletes, clubs, fans, developers, and investors through a decentralized sports economy. The project is structured around three core deliverables — the Sportiverse Testnet, Official Website, and the GoalTrick dApp — all of which were successfully developed and delivered during the acceleration period.

1. Sportiverse Testnet

The team launched a dedicated testnet using Cosmos SDK and Tendermint, with a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus, built through Ignite CLI.

Key characteristics of the testnet:

Designed to host decentralized applications (dApps) for the sports industry.
Enables token issuance, smart contracts, and verified athlete profiles.
Serves as the base layer for the SPORT Economic Zone, a modular ecosystem where each sport can operate its own blockchain ("Zone") under a shared governance and interoperability model.

Technology stack:

Frontend: React.js

Features: Litepaper, roadmap, documentation, testnet explorer, and dApp access.

The site offers a clear overview of the project’s mission, structure, and access points for users, developers, and institutions.

GoalTrick is the first live dApp built on the Sportiverse blockchain. It functions as a decentralized social platform for amateur and semi-professional football players, enabling them to build a public, verifiable sports identity.

MVP Features:

Web3 login with blockchain wallet.
Upload of videos, match stats, and highlights.
Social features: likes, comments, interactions — all recorded on-chain.
AI-powered legal contract generation (DeAI).
Smart transfer requests and scouting system.
Public player profiles with on-chain career history.

Target users: athletes, scouts, clubs, academies, developers, and sports organizations.

GoalTrick eliminates the need for intermediaries in player discovery and gives athletes ownership over their career data and visibility.

Architecture and Token Economy

Sportiverse is built using a Hub & Zone architecture, supported by the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. This ensures scalable interoperability across different sport-specific chains.

The $SPORT token is used for rewards, incentives, DAO governance, and profile visibility.
Gas fees on the main hub are paid in $ATOM, linking Sportiverse to the Cosmos Hub.

Each Zone can operate independently while remaining connected to the broader ecosystem.

Roadmap & Partnerships
